Hello Dear Friends, Readers & People in the network!
I hope you are enjoying your winter regardless of any chaotic worldly affairs. Perhaps now is an ideal time to offer you a restorative yoga session?
This past year, I’ve managed a cyberattack on my website (connected to Wordpress from activity in US, China and Cyprus), and another cyberattack on my Substack account (my blog was hijacked by a bitcoin account). Additionally, my business Instagram account was banned for promoting social activism with hashtags. Ah well, such are the consequences of a social media de-influencer.
To say the least, this past year for me as been filled full of expensive and painful lessons, which I am grateful for time spent with a trustworthy source, IT guru - Vitalyc, to get me back on track. My website is getting a much needed facelift and will be live again soon!
Meanwhile, I’m still found across at least another dozen social media platforms 🙄 where I have spent these last years in researching content for my debut book due out this year! More to follow on this later 🥳
I’ve got much going on, and betting you do too. This past year has been particularly brutal on my mental health, leaving my physical health to significantly suffer as well.
This winter was the darkest winter both in the actual geographical location I live in, and also in my heart space. Many ulgy-cries later, I feel inspired that spring is coming soon, though I forewarn of looming March Madness to come.
Just Breathe
Normalising the stress of our modern-day maladies has been something I’ve worked hard NOT doing back when I walked away in 2019 from living a life I was exhausted by for over a decade. I’ve come a long way in dedicating time to restore my nervous system to calm and focus on my role as a mother.
At the moment, I enjoy private teachings with students learning how to regulate and normalise taking REST in mind - body- spirit. I teach to individuals online and also a welcome a few students in my in-home studio.
Restorative yoga comes with many props like blankets, bolsters, sandbags, and blocks. And a quiet, calm environment is vital to set a tone with, which is why this type of yoga isn’t easy to teach in gyms or studios. Our nervous system needs stillness and serenity of solitude.
This specific type of yoga niches me down to one of the few restorative yoga certified teachers in Holland, and am thrilled to have grown a new network of international yogis on the same journey within these last five years. 😀

If you’d like to yoga with me soon, please reach out! For the moment, I streamline my communications due to the growing surveillance cyber state that looms over us.
Professionally, I’m found here on Substack behind a paywall, which is how I pay to raise my children and maintain costs of living. I am thanking those that have contributed and supported my brand over these last years. I am also found on LinkedIn, while working hard to come off Whatsapp and Meta. BlueSky is a breath of fresh air and I look for a Spotify replacement that allows me to stream playlists that I don’t have to create per se; lemme know if you have any suggestions.
Additionally, I’m publishing on Medium and have a Mastodon account set up under my pen name, as per guidance from my editor to protect my brand and create content under two names. So overall, I’ve got my bases covered in gathering a birds eye view on the evolution of social media, since well, 2007, when I joined the online matrix as a Mom Blogger.
Privately, you can reach me in text on Signal. For business, I still maintain a Whatsapp account. Or message me here on Substack!
Today, I leave you with this episode of Aud’s Pods, which normally I save for my blog but am happy to introduce here within my Newsletter as well.
Thanks to Heather, Jordon and Mark for contributions to this week’s Aud’s Pods Current Events. And feel free to check out the progressive work behind The Anti-Capitalist Podcast Network (keep going 💪 Comrades!)
If you’d like to catch others, they are here.
Have a safe March and stay aware. I’ll be touching base more frequently in the coming season.
Namaste xx
Audra
